James Wade Bibliography

James Martin Wade was born 6 April 1983 in Aldershot, Hampshire and is an English professional darts player, currently playing in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). He became the youngest player to win a major PDC title at the World Matchplay in 2007, at the age of 24.

Since winning the World Matchplay in 2007, he has also won the World Grand Prix in 2007 and 2010, the UK Open in 2008 and 2011, the Premier League in 2009, the Championship League in 2010, and the Masters in 2014. He has had a career-high ranking of second in the PDC Order of Merit and with eight major tournament wins and is the third most successful player in PDC history, after Phil Taylor and Michael van Gerwen. He has yet to win the PDC World Darts Championship, with the semi finals being his best result.

He started his career in the British Darts Organisation in 2001 before joining the Professional Dart Corporation in 2004. His best performance in a major BDO tournament came at the International Darts League in 2004 and 2007, reaching the quarter finals on both occasions.

Mark Webster Bibliography

Mark Webster was born 12 August 1983 in St Asaph and is a professional left-handed Welsh darts player who lives in Denbigh. Known as Webby, but nicknamed The Spider he plays in Professional Darts Corporation events. He began his career on the British Darts Organisation circuit, winning the BDO World Championship in 2008.He became a full-time professional in 2009.

Simon Whitlock Bibliography

Simon Whitlock was born 3 March 1969 and is an Australian professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation tournaments, having also played in the British Darts Organisation between 2004-2009. He uses the nickname The Wizard for his matches. His walk-on music is Down Under by Men At Work.

His greatest achievement to date was winning his first major title at the 2012 European Championship. He has also finished runner-up at the 2008 BDO World Darts Championship and the 2010 PDC World Darts Championship. He claimed that the prize money gained from the latter tournament which included money for the highest checkout, would allow him to move over to the UK from Australia and compete on the PDC Pro Tour. His defeat also made him the first, and so far only, player to have never won a World Championship after reaching both the BDO and PDC World Championship Final.

Peter Manley Bibliography

Peter David Manley was born 7 March 1962 in Cheam and is a former professional darts player who used to play in the Professional Darts Corporation.

He was named One Dart by commentator Tony Green after hitting the winning double on numerous occasions with his first dart during his first televised appearance at the 1995 Unipart European Masters, where he eventually lost in the final to Mike Gregory. The nickname subsequently proved to be a heavy burden for him as despite a confident, outspoken persona only managed one major win - the 2003 Las Vegas Desert Classic - during his professional darts career.

Richie Burnett Bibliography

Richard "Richie" Burnett was born 7 February 1967 is a Welsh World No. 1 professional darts player who won the 1995 Embassy World Darts Champion and plays in Professional Darts Corporation His nickname is the Prince of Wales.

He played in the BDO from 1994-1999. In 1994 he won the Worlds Masters, followed by the BDO World Championship in 1995. He switched to the PDC from 1999-2014 and again in 2016. He has won no tournaments in the PDC, but has been in severals semi finals.
