Jack Savoretti

Jack Savoretti (born Giovanni Edgar Charles Galletto-Savoretti on 10 October 1983) is a British singer-songwriter, born in Westminster, London. He has also been described as English-Italian due to his family background and time spent living in mainland Europe. Savoretti works primarily in singer-songwriter, pop and folk-influenced rock and is notable for achieving major UK chart success later in his career, including UK number-one albums.

Savoretti spent parts of his childhood and adolescence in the UK and abroad, experiences that informed the autobiographical tone of his songwriting. He began performing and recording in the 2000s, releasing his debut album Between the Minds (2007), followed by Harder Than Easy (2009). These early releases established him as a touring artist with a loyal audience, while his lyrical style drew on introspection and narrative detail rather than mainstream pop formats.

A larger breakthrough followed in the 2010s.
