Lily Allen

Lily Rose Beatrice Allen (born 2 May 1985) is an English singer-songwriter and actress born in Hammersmith, London. Emerging during the mid-2000s, she became known for pop music that combined contemporary production with conversational lyric-writing and satirical social observation. Her work helped define a period of UK pop that drew heavily on online discovery and independent cultural commentary.
