N-Dubz are an English hip hop and R&B group formed in Camden Town, London, in 2000. The trio consists of Dappy (Costadinos Contostavlos), Tulisa (Tula Paulinea Contostavlos) and Fazer (Richard Rawson). Emerging from the UK urban scene, they became widely known for a run of charting singles and albums in the late 2000s, helping bring grime-influenced pop to mainstream audiences.

The group began recording and releasing music while still in their teens, building early momentum through mixtapes and guest appearances. Their first major commercial breakthrough came in the mid-2000s, leading to wider radio play and industry recognition. N-Dubz released their debut studio album, Uncle B, in 2008, supported by singles including “Ouch” and “Papa Can You Hear Me?”. The album established them as a regular presence in the UK singles and albums charts.

N-Dubz reached their peak as a chart act between 2009 and 2010. Their second studio album, Against All Odds, was released in 2009 and became their first UK number one album. During this period they scored a UK number one single as featured artists on Tinchy Stryder’s “Number 1”. Their third studio album, Love.Live.Life, followed in 2010, extending their run of UK chart success with further singles and touring.

After several years of sustained activity, the group entered a hiatus in the early 2010s as members pursued solo projects in music and television. N-Dubz later reunited for live performances in the 2020s, returning to recording with new material. In 2023 they released Timeless, their first studio album in more than a decade, marking a formal continuation of the group’s discography.

N-Dubz’s work is associated with the crossover of UK rap and R&B into pop chart formats during the late 2000s. Their catalogue includes multiple UK top 40 singles and three studio albums from their initial run, alongside later reunion-era releases. The group have remained a reference point for artists moving between mainstream pop and UK urban styles.
