Kenny Logan:

Kenny Logan was born 3 April 1972 in Stirling, Scotland is a former rugby union footballer who played wing for London Scottish and Scotland.

Career

As a schoolboy, Logan had football trials as a goalkeeper for Dundee United and Hearts. He left school at 16 and began his rugby career with Stirling County, making his senior debut at 17.
In 1996, he joined Wasps for his first professional season. He was with Wasps for seven years. In 2004, he signed for Glasgow and in September 2005 made his debut for London Scottish.
He gained his first cap for Scotland in 1992 against Australia. Winning 70 caps over 13 years, he retired from international rugby union after the 2003 World Cup.

Personal life

He married television presenter Gabby Yorath and the couple live in London.They now have twins after undergoing IVF treatment.The twins were born on 28 July 2005. Reuben McKerrow was born at 11:40 pm; Lois Maya was born 12 minutes later.
Since retiring he has taken part in several Tv shows, the most recent being the fifth series of the BBC celebrity dancing programme Strictly Come Dancing.In the show he was partnered with Ola and his wife Gabby was partnered with James Jordan. Logan ended in 5th place. Gabby finished in 12th place.
He and his wife are currently co-presidents of the children's charity Sparks.In 2009, Logan and Sparks joined forces to organise an annual mass-participation event entitled Logan's Challenge.

Gregor Townsend:

Gregor Peter John Townsend MBE was born 26 April 1973 in Galashiels is a former Scottish rugby union player who played at fly-half, full back and latterly centre. He represented both Scotland and the British and Irish Lions winning 82 caps for Scotland (twice as captain) and 2 caps for the Lions.
He is currently the Scotland attack coach alongside Andy Robinson having joined in 2009 under Frank Hadden and coaching previously at the defunct Borders club.

Playing career

He was first with Gala RFC, coming through from their ranks from the mini section. He won his first full cap for Scotland in March 1993, as substitute for Craig Chalmers in the Five Nations match against England at Twickenham.
In 1995 he joined Northampton Saints and played in the winning 1997 British Lions tour to South Africa. He left Northampton Saints in 1998 for the French club Brive.In 1996, HE became captain of Scotland.
In 2000 he moved to Castres and then returned to Scotland to play with The Borders.
hE represented Scotland at the 2003 Rugby Union World Cup, but afterwards was most controversially deemed surplus to requirements by Scotland coach Matt Williams at just 30 years old.
In 2004, free to travel the world after being relieved of Scotland duties, he represented the Natal Sharks in the then Super 12 and played the 2004-05 season with Montpellier in France. He returned to the Borders for the 2005-06 season as a player and coach and during that time represented the Scottish based sevens side, Bone Steelers at the 2005 Dubai Sevens.In 2009 Townsend represented the Bone Steelers again at the Dubai Sevens as part of their Veterans Tens squad that reached the semi-finals.
He strongly supported the existence of The Borders rugby team, despite financial problems. He told The Scotsman newspaper: "In my mind, a third team in Scotland is absolutely priceless because we need as many players exposed to professional rugby week in, week out as we can get."
