Jesse Ellis Lingard  was born 15 December 1992and  is an English  footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, for Premier League club Manchester United and the English  team. He made his senior debut while on loan at Leicester City in 2012, and spent time on loan at Birmingham City and Brighton & Hove Albion during the 2013–14 season and at Derby County in 2015.

He has represented England at under-17 and under-21 levels, before making his senior international debut in October 2016. He was part of the 23 man England World Cup Squad in 2018, and helped take them to the World Cup Semi-Final, the first they had been to since 1990 and only the third ever. Unfortunately they lost in the Semi-Final to Croatia on 11 July 2018.
