Rugby Memorabilia- Signed England Rugby Shirt RFU 2000 by complete 31 Squad.

This fantastic and very rare rugby memorabilia item is a signed England rugby shirt from the 2000 rugby squad fully hand signed by the whole squad of 31.It was obtained by the Sponsors Tetley and is framed along with a sponsor's ball and a list of the full squad. It was originally displayed in the Sport's Cafe from February 2000.It has all 31 signatures from the squad including the very rare Johnny Wilkinson. Many of these players went onto play in the 2003 World Cup in Australia where England won the Rugby World Cup.

The 2000 Six Nations Championship was the first series of the Six Nations Championship, following the inclusion of Italy into championship. The championship was won by England and although England had appeared ready to be the first nation in the expanded Championship to win all its games and complete a 'Grand Slam' they met winless Scotland for its final match. Scotland earned a surprising victory and denied England the Grand Slam.France, the last winner of a Five Nations slam in 1998, would win the first Six Nations slam in 2002.
