David Gray Biography

David Gray was born 13 June 1968 and is an English singer-songwriter. David Gray released his first studio album in 1993 and received worldwide attention after the release of "White Ladder" six years later. It was the first of three UK No.1 albums in six years for Gray, the latter two of which also made the Top 17 in the US. White Ladder became the fifth best selling album of the 2000's in the UK.Gray has been nominated for 4 Brit Awards – twice for Best British Male Sell, Sell, Sell, was his third album and was released in 1996, two years before his critically acclaimed album "White Ladders" was iniatially released.

The album "Dear Life" was his 13th album release and the first since his Covid album "Skellig" in 2021. It was released in January 2025.
