Bibliography;

Blondie is an American rock band, founded in the 1970's by singer Deborah Harry and guitarist Chris Stein.The band was a pioneer in the American New Wave and punk scenes of the 1970s. Their first two albums although successful in the United Kingdom and Australia,did not achieve crtical acclaim in the US. They were regarded as an underground band in the US until the release of "Parallel Lines" in 1978. Over the next 3 years, the band achieved several hit singles including "Call Me", "Atomic" and "Heart of Glass".They broke up after the release of their 6th studio album The Hunter in 1982. Deborah Harry continued to pursue a solo career with varied results, but the band reformed in 1997, achieving renewed success and a number one single in the UK with "Maria" in 1999. The group toured throughout the world during the following years, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006. Blondie has sold 40 million records worldwide and is still active today, although Debbie Harry announced their retirement in 2013, as she feels she is too old to be a rock star, so will no longer tour.Their 9nth studio album, "Panic of Girls", was released in 2011.

A lovely piece of music memorabilia signed in person by Debbie Harry and Chris Stein on the "Eat To The Beat" Album.This was their 4th album and was released in 1979.
