Ashes Signed Cricket Shirt
PCA Signed Cricket Masters Cricket Shirt, autographed by both Teams who played in the PCA Master's T20 game in 2005. This shirt was signed by both the PCA team and the Australian Team who played at the T20 game held at Arundel in 2005. It was the prelude to the 2005 Ashes series that England won. It is certified by the PCA themselves and also comes with our own Coa. 100% authentic autographs signed in person by the players at the game.
The Professional Cricketers' Association Master's T20 game was a invitation XI to take on Australia in a unique Twenty20 match at the spectacular Arundel Castle Cricket Club Ground in West Sussex, as part of Taylor Wessing Masters Series.
The Australian's Ashes tour of England began on 9th June 2005 and the tourists' star players for this ICC and ECB sanctioned match included Glenn McGrath, Ricky Ponting and Adam Gilchrist. It was the first chance for the British public to see the Australian team before the Ashes began.
Monies raised from the game went towards the Professional Cricketers' Association and the Australian Cricketers' Association, for education, community and benevolent projects. The PCA will also make a donation towards Hampshire and Sussex youth cricket funds.
The Invitation XI, scored 167 from there 20 overs, the Australians scored 170 in 19.5 overs,meaning the Australian's won the match. The Australian's had won the toss and elected to field and the man of the match was Matthew Hayden from the Australian team.
This shirt was one that was raffled to raise money for the PCA from this event.
