It was obtained by a backstage hand. Amy signed the Cd on the front of the Cd insert. The item is framed. What a great item of music memorabilia.

Amy Winehouse Biography;

Amy Jade Winehouse was born 14 September 1983 and died 23 July 2011 was an English singer-songwriter known for her powerful deep vocals and her eclectic mix of musical genres. Her 2003 debut album, "Frank", was critically successful in the UK and was nominated for the Mercury Prize. Her next album called "Back to Black", released in 2006, led to 6 Grammy Award nominations and 5 wins, and made Winehouse the first British female to win five Grammys, including three of the "Big Four": Best New Artist, Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

In 2007 at the "Brits", she won a "Brit for Best Female Artist. She also won the Ivor Novello Award 3 times, one in 2004 for Best Contemporary Song, for "Stronger Than Me", one in 2007 again for Best Contemporary Song for "Rehab", and one in 2008 for Best Song Musically and Lyrically for "Love Is a Losing Game". The album "Back to Black" is the biggest seller of the 2000s in the UK to date and Winehouse is credited with the rise in popularity of female musicians.

Unfortunately she was found dead on 23 July 2011, at her home in London. Police have said that the cause of her death is "as yet unexplained" and that the death was "non-suspicious". Her family and friends attended her funeral on 26 July 2011.

In August 2011 her album "Back to Black" became the UK's best selling album of the 21st century, after entering the charts. Just before her death she had been recording a duet entitled "Body and Soul" with Tony Bennett, which was subsequently released on 14 September 2011 to commemorate what would have been her 28th birthday. Proceeds from the song will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation "to support charitable activities in both the UK and abroad.
