Carlos Tevez Bibliography;

Carlos Alberto Tévez was born Carlos Alberto Martínez on 5 February 1984 and is an Argentine footballer who played as a forward for Manchester City until the end of the 2012/13 season. Previously he had played for Boca Juniors, Corinthians, West Ham United and Manchester United.
He transferred to Manchester City from Manchester United in the 2009 summer transfer window, becoming the first player to move between the two rival clubs since Terry Cooke.His energy and goal scoring rate has since made him an indispensable player for the club in the eyes of fellow players and fans alike. This was marked by his promotion to captain at the beginning of the 2010-11 season by the then manager Roberto Mancini. In 2011, he sought a transfer away from Manchester citing family reasons and Sergio Agüero was drafted in as a replacement. However he remained a City player after his family moved back to Manchester with the manager Roberto Mancini saying he will stay for the foreseeable future.
His career has been dogged by a legal dispute between the Premier league and Media Sports Investments, the company which owned the rights of Tévez, and several other players and coaches.This had eventually resulted in West Ham United being fined over issues regarding third-party ownership. He has made 59 appearances for the Argentina to date.
He joined Manchester City after protracted negotiations.He signed a five-year contract with Manchester City, after a medical on 14 July 2009.It was claimed that the transfer fee was £47 million, a British transfer record, but this was later denied by both Manchester City and Media Sports Investments. He was given squad number 32, just as he was at Manchester United and West Ham. When he signed, Manchester City erected a blue 'Welcome to Manchester' billboard with Tévez in the background. The billboard was located at the top of Deansgate in Manchester city centre, which leads to Old Trafford.
He made his City debut off the bench, against Blackburn Rovers in a 2-0 away win. He scored his first goal for the club on 27 August 2009 against Crystal Palace. At the end of his first season at Manchester City, he was given two club awards, the Etihad Player of the Year award and the Players' Player of the Year award.He was also made club Captain by the manager, replacing defender Kolo Toure.Unfortunately by December 2010, despite his agent recently asking the club to renegotiate and improve his contract, he handed the club a written transfer request, citing family reasons and a breakdown in "relationship with certain executives and individuals at the club".Following the rejection of his request, he withdrew his transfer request and expressed his 'absolute commitment' to Manchester City following clear-the-air talks.
Unfortunately at the start of the 2011/12 season he started what became known as the Bayern Munich dispute. This led to him being sent on garden leave for six month's after refusing to come on as a substitute. Eventually he returned to the club and helped them win the Premier League but the damage was done and he eventually left at the end of the following season.
